According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals had activity in their cases:

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Brett A. Wilson, 34, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest October 18 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance without valid prescription. Wilson was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.

Lisa Langton Garretson, 52, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest October 15 to a charge of failure to keep right in the left lane. Garretson was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.

Elkanah T. Miller, 18, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 21 to a charge of speeding. Miller was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Jordan M. Cox, 46, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 17 to charges of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate and operation of vehicle without evidence of registration. Cox was assessed $402.96 in court costs and fines.

Sharon Novak, 44, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty October 15 to a charge of speeding. Novak was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Brandon S. Wilkinson, 26, of Elkview, pleaded guilty October 15 to charges of no proof of insurance, operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate and operation of vehicle without evidence of registration. Wilkinson was assessed $784.44 in court costs and fines.

Kimberly Dawn Tinsley, 54, of Elkview, pleaded no contest October 16 to a charge of speeding. Tinsley was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Claude Floyd Phillips, 64, of Monterville, pleaded guilty October 31 to a charge of speeding. Phillips was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Haiden Daniel Gladwell, 22, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty October 31 to a charge of speeding. Gladwell was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Rodney K. Swearingen, 43, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty November 1 to a charge of shoplifting. Swearingen was assessed $211.48 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Jennifer Dunz’s court: 

Morgan Rider, 28, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 24 to charges of impro- per use of evidence of registration and defective equipment. Rider was assessed $955.92 in court costs and fines.

Daniel Craig Good, 34, of Durbin, pleaded guilty October 9 to a charge of defective equipment. Good was assessed $191.48 in court costs and fines.

Joshua W. Kramer, 39, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest October 18 to a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked. Kramer was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.

Eryn V. Neyer, 32, of Slaty Fork, pleaded guilty October 11 to a charge of overtaking and passing school bus, no injury. Neyer was assessed $696.81 in court costs and fines.

Christopher Y. Shan, 28, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty October 18 to a charge of speeding. Shan was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Maria D. Montecino, 55, of Chantilly, Virginia, pleaded guilty October 24 to a charge of speeding. Montecino was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Deborah Lynn Wimer, 56, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest October 11 to a charge of speeding on open country highway. Wimer was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Serena M. Brooks, 48, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 11 to a charge of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. Brooks was assessed $191.48 in court costs and fines.

Jonathan Keith Bennett, 34, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest October 11 to a charge of expired motor vehicle registration. Bennett was assessed $191.48 in court costs and fines.
