According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals had activity in their cases:

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Corey Alexander, 35, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest May 7 to a charge of person prohibited from possessing firearm. Alexander was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.

Paul Richard Humphrey, 20, of Hurricane, pleaded no contest May 31 to a charge of failure to maintain control. Humphrey was assessed $206.01 in court costs and fines.

Shameron S. Friel, 19, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 29 to a charge of seat belt violation. Friel was assessed a $25.56 fine.

Marsha G. Myer, 61, of Buckeye, pleaded no contest May 30 to a charge of seat belt violation. Myer was assessed a $25 fine.

Ryan A. Moore, 25, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest to charges obstructing law enforcement, probation, parole, court security or corrections officer with threats of harm and possession of controlled substance without valid prescription. Moore was assessed $372.96 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Jennifer Dunz’s court: 

George Mathew Harmon, 32, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 15 to charges of no operator’s and operation of vehicle without evidence of registration. Harmon was assessed $392.96 in court costs and fines.

Cage Burdette, 19, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 24 to a charge of speeding. Burdette was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Joshua Roy Hedrick, 55, of Bartow, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked. Hedrick was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.

Ronnie C. Charles, 48, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest May 15 to a charge of overtaking and passing school bus. Charles was assessed $681.48 in court costs and fines.

Bonnie Puffenbarger, 68, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest May 3 to a charge of petit larceny. Puffenbarger was assessed $231.48 in court costs and fines.

William D. Runyon, 28, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 23 to a charge of conspiring to violate Chapter 20. Runyon was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.
