According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals had activity in their cases:

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Steven Wayne Bennett, 59, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 13 to a charge of operating without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Richard Lee Hedrick, 31, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest August 28 to a charge of obstructing an officer. He was assessed $225.25 in court costs and fines.

Christopher D. Henthorne, 45, of Weston, pleaded guilty August 18 to a charge of unauthorized acts with regard to wildlife without license or permit. He was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

George Jordan, 36, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 13 to a charge of operating without a certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Clarence A. Martin, Jr., 35, of Circleville, pleaded no contest August 13 to charges of operating without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate, unsafe and improperly equipped vehicle, driving while license suspended/revoked, no vehicle insurance and improper use of evidence of registration. He was assessed $1,176.25 in court costs and fines.

Andrew Curtis Pritt, 76, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest August 3 to a charge of loaded gun/crossbow in vehicle during prohibited hours. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Codey Wayne Rutherford, 29, of Monterville, pleaded guilty August 13 to a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. He was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Erik Segasser, 33, of Glencoe, Maryland, pleaded guilty August 27 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Glenn Wyatt Vanburen, 18, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty August 26 to a charge of failure to use safety belt. He was assessed a $25 fine.

Adam M. Warner, 34, of Green Bank, pleaded guilty August 26 to a charge of dead motor vehicle inspection. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Dylan S. White, 25, of White Sulphur Springs, pleaded guilty August 12 to a charge of driving too fast for roadway conditions. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

James Andrew Wood, 27, of Circleville, pleaded guilty August 12 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Nathaniel Cottle, 19, of Bartow, pleaded guilty July 31 to a charge of driving too fast for roadway conditions. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Richard McCarty, 20, of Elkins, pleaded guilty August 12 to charges of reckless driving and underage consumption. He was assessed $435.07 in court costs and fines.

Shawn C. Thompson, 49, of Vienna, Virginia, pleaded no contest July 31 to a charge of failure to obey official traffic control device. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Kristina D. Tingler, 40, of Circleville, pleaded no contest July 31 to charges of improper use of evidence of registration, unsafe and improperly equipped vehicle, driving while license suspended/revoked and no vehicle insurance. She was assessed $1,191 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Jennifer Dunz’s court:

Eddie Reese Cason Jr., age unknown, of Oakwood, Virginia, pleaded guilty August 27 to a charge of failure to register or provide notice of registration changes. He was assessed a $25 fine.

Christopher Burns, 55, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 24 to a charge of loaded gun/crossbow in vehicle during prohibited hours. He was assessed $281.44 in court costs and fines.

Franklin N. Cassell, 49, of Durbin, pleaded guilty August 17 to charge of operating without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate, improper use of evidence of registration and no vehicle insurance. He was assessed $585.75 in court costs and fines.

Jason D. Conley, 47, of Akron, Ohio, pleaded no contest August 7 to charges of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without valid prescription – marijuana – and knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without valid prescription – meth. He was assessed $550.50 in court costs and fines.

Terry Russell Friend, age unavailable, pleaded guilty August 18 to a charge of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Shelia Marie Good, 49, of Durbin, pleaded no contest August 21 to a charge of permitting an unauthorized person to drive. She was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

James Edward Groves, 30, of Hillsboro pleaded guilty August 20 to a charge of operating without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Dalton Lee Hendrick, 18, of Durbin, pleaded no contest August 31 to a charge of sale or gift of cigarette to a person under 18. He was assessed $225.25 in court costs and fines.

William Blake Honaker, 22, of Ronceverte, pleaded guilty August 5 to a charge of littering in a State Park. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Samantha Jean Keense, 42, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 20 to a charge of public intoxication. She was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Kevin Scott Lambert, 24, of Durbin, pleaded no contest August 10 to charges of driving too fast for roadway conditions and on mountain highways. He was assessed $390.50.

Zachary Dean Lambert, 18, of Durbin, pleaded guilty August 24 to a charge of unsafe and improperly equipped vehicle. He was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Thomas Lee Lewis, 36, of Cass, pleaded no contest August 24 to a charge of possession of uncertified ginseng. He was assessed $675.25 in court costs and fines.

Dylan Lee Long, 18, of Lewisburg, pleaded guilty August 4 to a charge of littering in a State Park. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Tiffany McCoy, 43, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty August 19 to a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. She was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Keith Edward McMillion, 56, of South Charleston, pleaded no contest August 24 to a charge of motorboat required equipment – floatation device. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Eric M. Pluta, 24, of Harleysville, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty August 20 to a charge of driving too fast for roadway conditions. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Trista Nicole Robinson, 27, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 19 to a charge of child passenger safety devices required. She was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

Gary Michael Sharp, 43, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty August 27 to a charge of failure to use safety belt. He was assessed a $25 fine.

Phillip Wayne Shinaberry, 30, of Dunmore, pleaded guilty August 24 to a charge of possession of uncertified ginseng. He was assessed $675.25 in court costs and fines.

Josef L. Cummins, 67, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest August 10 to a charge of duty upon striking fixtures upon highway. He was assessed $383.87 in court costs and fines.

William J. Dunz, 47, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 5 to a charge of failure to use safety belt. He was assessed a $25 fine.

Carolyn Jane Hook, 73, pleaded no contest August 10 to a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. She was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Kevin Scott Lambert, 24, of South Charleston, pleaded no contest August 10 to a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a child by a person 18 or older. He was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Braxton McMillion, 21, of Eleanor, pleaded guilty August 17 to a charge of failure to use personal floatation device. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Roy Lynn Walker, 54, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest August 25 to charges of no vehicle insurance and driving while license suspended/revoked. He was assessed $550.50 in court costs and fines.
