Reverend Lynda Fay McFadden, age 70, of Ashtabula, Ohio, was called to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 19, 2017.

Born November 2, 1946, at Marlinton, she was the oldest of six children of the late Ira and Margaret Bobbitt Turner.

When Lynda was two years of age, she went to live with her Aunt Lucille and Uncle Paul Dean, whom she loved dearly. In 1962, she moved to Ashtabula, Ohio, and remained a long-time resident.

On September 9, 1962, Lynda was united in marriage to Reverend Thomas L. McFadden. Their marriage was one of faith and love. The memories that were created during those 54 years will be forever treasured. Together, they pastored the Family Worship Center in Painesville, Ohio, for more than 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald McFadden; a sister, Maryjane “Janie” Phillips; a brother, Eddie Turner; and her aunt and uncle, Lucille and Paul Dean.

She is survived by her loving husband; children, Cheryl Boylen, and husband, Samuel, and Reverend James McFadden, and wife, Brenda, all of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Reverend Tammy Bliffin, of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Rebecca Rosario, and husband, Roy, of Stow, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Debra McFadden, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; 19 beautiful grandchildren; 14 precious great-grandchildren; siblings, Lucille Whiting, Maryann Wilfong, and Ira “Bucky” Turner, and wife, Cheryl “Cookie”; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held January 24 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Ashtabula, Ohio, with Reverend Kenneth Roberts officiating. Interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in North Kingsville, Ohio.
