Lucille Hallie Kelley, age 93, of Marlinton, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born November 21, 1921, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Levia Grimes Cain.
Lucille was a member of First Baptist Church – Huntersville. She was a cook at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital, Marlinton school and Alleghany Lodge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Morgan; a daughter, Peggy Jean Burdette; granddaughter, Jonie Burdette; two sisters, Eula White and Edith Mullins; and four brothers, Arthur Cain, Edsel Cain, Hunter Cain and Remus Cain.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Gilmore Hurst, and husband, Edward, of Marlinton; grandchildren, Danny Burdette, Bill Burdette, Pete Burdette, Lisa Dickenson, Kasandra Sisk, Debbie Workman Daniels, Billy Gilmore and Richie Workman; 17 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Kaliszewski and Polly Moore, both of Marlinton; and a brother, Joe Cain, of Marlinton.
Funeral service June 17, 2 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Phillip Thompson officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
