Lowell Meadows

Lowell T. “Tom” Meadows, age 81, of Locust Creek, Hillsboro, died peacefully Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his home.

Born August 24, 1936, at Crab Orchard, he was a son of the late James Preston and Nancy Ann Woods Meadows.

He was a retired pharmacist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou McComas Meadows; and grandson, Noah Meadows.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Meadows of Radford, Virginia, Terri Gingery, and husband, Matt, of Yulee, Florida, and Denise Wirt, and husband, Butch, of Radford, Virginia; three grandchildren, David Meadows, Abe Gingery and Adam Gingery; four great grandchildren, John, Luke and Judson Gingery and Kaylee Meadows; and brothers and sisters, James Meadows, Preston Meadows, Jessie Meadows, Faye Pettrey and Josephine Daniels.

At his request the body will be cremated and there will be no service.
