Louverna Dale

Louverna Trent Dale, age 83, of Mill Creek, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, at her home.

Born September 2, 1931, at Second Creek, Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Paul Richard and Mamie Lee Jones Trent.

Louverna married Richard Dale on December 1, 1949.

From 1956 to 1988, she moved with her husband, Richard, to these state parks: Babcock State Park, Cedar Creek State Park, Holly River State Park, Watoga State Park, Audra State Park, Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and Prickett’s Fort State Park. Richard retired in 1988 and they moved to Mill Creek where she resided until her passing.

Louverna was a member of the Glenville Chapter #90 Order of the Eastern Star and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Wyatt Dale; two sisters, Dorothy Ritchie and Linda Sue Currence; and four brothers, William, Joe Paul, Jim and Wilbur “Bud” Trent.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard Murrel Dale; a daughter, Rose Marie Dale Clark, and husband, Buck Clark, of Weston; two sons, Thomas Alan Dale, and wife, Sue, of Missoula, Montana, and Jerry Lewis Dale, and wife, Wilma, of Huntersville; grandchildren, Adam and Morgan Dale, Jeremy Clark, Amanda Bennett, Dillon Clark, Aaron Clark, Evan G. Dale, and Grant R. Dale; great-grandchildren, Keller and Landon Bennett, Juniper and Hazel Dale, Owen and Sam Dale and Peyton Clark and Ava Clark; three sisters, Mary Nosse and Nancy Hopson, both of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Virginia Neace, of Knox, Indiana; and a brother, Gary David, of Ashtabula, Ohio.

Funeral service was October 22 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in the Arbovale Cemetery.
