Dorothy Louise Thomas, age 92, of Marlinton, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, at her home.
Born July 1, 1926, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late George See and Robbie Ellen McCormick Smith.
Louise was retired from Hanover Shoe Company in Marlinton. She was a member of the Marlinton Presbyterian Church, VFW Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee “Tuck” Thomas, to whom she was married to for 70 years; and a sister, Margaret Eubanks.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Galford, of Buckeye; grandson, Joseph Donald Galford, and wife, Stephanie, of Temple, Texas; two great-grandsons, Tucker and Gage Galford; and a sister, Mary Updike, of Mill Creek.
Graveside service was held December 15 in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton with Pastor Troy George officiating.
