Lola Slayton

Lola M. Slayton, age 53, of Ellenwood, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, following a nine month illness.

Born June 15, 1961, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Jobert and Betty Slayton.

Lola graduated from Pocahontas County High School. She joined the Army Military Police and worked in the Atlanta, Georgia, area for 30 years as a dispatch for numerous construction companies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Bo” Slayton and Jobert “Buck” Slayton.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Slayton, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

In keeping with her wishes, the body was cremated. No services will be held.
