Linwood’s Got Talent

The sixth annual Linwood’s Got Talent competition was held Thursday evening at The Fiddlehead in Slaty Fork. Youngsters and adults took the stage and and entertained the crowd. Emcees Thomas Clevenger and Paul Marganian presented awards to the winners. Clevenger, Marganian and winners in the adult category: second place, Valerie Monico; first place, Kelsey Beverage; fourth place, George Bell; and third place, Mae Canoy. All proceeds from the event go to the Linwood Community Library. Citizens Bank of West Virginia, Rt. 66 Board Shop and Restaurant, Woodford Oil, Elk River Inn and Restaurant and The Fiddlehead sponsored the event.
