Linda S. Moore, age 67, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017, at her home.

Born November 27, 1949, in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Caroline H. Moore and Julian H. Moore.

Linda was a 1967 graduate of DuPont High School and attended Weber College in Florida. She was a stockbroker, the only female stockbroker in the state of West Virginia when she began her career.

She had an adventurous nature, a fierce intellect and an indomitable spirit. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy will live on through her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Brigitte Kovacevich; son-in-law, Michael C. Callaghan; granddaughter, Caroline C. Callaghan; a sister, Melanie Williamson; and her partner, Barry Morrison.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, at the family cabin on Knapps Creek. Attendees meet in Marlinton at Locust Hill Inn at 1 p.m. then travel to the memorial service. A reception will follow at Locust Hill Pub.

Flowers may be sent to Locust Hill Inn; or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
