Gone – but not forgotten.
Saw the picture of Logan Davis and Wyatt Workman holding the Axe for beating Richwood in football.
When WVMR started broadcasting Warrior football I went down to C. J. Richardson’s to buy an axe as a trophy. Ms. Nelson at Pocahontas County High School had agreed to decorate it.
When I told Terry what it was for, he said, “no charge.”
He was a man who contributed in so many quiet ways to the community.
I miss him every day.
