Editor,
House Bill 2014, which invites and encourages Data center development in West Virginia, is yet another example of using and selling the state’s natural resources at the expense of the people and as a blind misuse of the one enduring and most valuable state resource “the green and rolling hills.”
The world is overcrowd-ed, in turmoil, and led by self-centered, short-sighted fools.
West Virginia still has what most of the world now lacks: water, forests, farmland, quiet and peace of mind.
Data centers bring nothing and will rob communities of quiet, water and useable land, and will enrich the already rich and politicians will try to gas light you while the beauty and peacefulness of our state ebbs away.
County Commissions and citizens take heed! Don’t sell out West Virginia!
