Lawrence Robert “Bob” Barlow, age 72, of Marlinton, died Monday, October 20, 2014, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
Born July 1, 1942, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Ward Richard Barlow, I, and Louise Foster Barlow.
Bob was a heavy equipment construction worker and a retired truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Louise Moore Barlow; and a brother, Ward Richard Barlow, II.
He is survived by a daughter, Tamela C. “Tammi” Barlow, and companion, J.R. Carden, of Buckeye; a son, Jeffrey P. “Jeff” Barlow, and wife, Star, of Marlinton; a sister, Lois Ann Beverage, and husband, Marvin, of Marlinton; grandchildren, Britney, Lyndsey, Joni, Austin and Jazzlyn; and a great-grandchild, Rya.
Family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday, October 24, 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Sam Felton officiating. Interment will be in the Cochran Cemetery in Onoto.
