Kathleen Gallahan Owens, 74, of Marlinton, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Born September 25, 1951, at LaPlata, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and June Little Gallahan.
In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Pat Gallahan.
Kathleen was a strong, loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, a friend to all, a realtor for Red Oak Reality, and was owner of County Disposal Service.
She is survived by three children, Terra Carpenter, and husband, Jason, of Dunn, North Carolina, Jonathan Owens, and wife, Sharon, of Daniels, and Patrick Owens, and wife, Lindsey, of Woodstock, Georgia; nine grandchildren, Abby, Maggy, Cassidy, Mason, Westyn, Aaron, AJ and Parker; sisters, Frances Helmick, and husband, Michael, of North Carolina, JoAnne Holmes, and husband, Peter, of Massachusetts, Mary Gallahan, and husband, Shel Groves, of Maryland, and Rose Luley, and husband, Leo, of North Carolina; and brothers, John Gallahan, and wife, Trish, of Maryland, Paul Gallahan, and wife, Leslie, of North Carolina, and David Gallahan, and wife, Cindy, of Maryland.
In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes the body will be cremated with no service.
