In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Mullenax; and step-mother, Bernice Beverage.

She is survived by three children, Robert Colaw and Doris Nelson, and husband, Danny, all of Elkins, and Cheryl Baker, and husband, Ronnie, of Ronceverte; two grandsons, Trevor Nelson, and wife, Jennifer, of Broadway, Virginia, and Kevin Baker and wife, Heather, of Rainelle; three great-grandchildren, Tanner Nelson, Lindsay Nelson and Kolton Baker; a half-brother, Howard Mullenax, and wife, Carol, of North Carolina; and a half-sister, Betty Woodford, of North Carolina.

Funeral service was held October 28 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Fuller officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Cemetery on Back Mountain Road, Durbin.
