Judy Arnett

Our dearly beloved Judy Jeanette Currence-Arnett, age 46, of Thornwood, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at her home.

Born Monday, January 6, 1969, in Elkins, she was a daughter of Freddie Lamar and Judy Mae Vandevender Greer.

Judy was twice married, first to Jonathan H. Currence, of Maryland; and second to William “Larry” Arnett, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William Mackie and Mary Charlene Adams Vandevender; paternal grandparents, Robert Lee and Laura Ellen Brice Greer; cousins, Mary N. Greer, Billy Melton, Irene Greer, Glenn Perkins, Brian Edward Vandevener, April Lynn Newbrough and Caden L. Vandevender-Kesner; mothers-in-law, Joann D. Currence and Josephine F. Arnett; and father-in-law, William “Bill” Currence.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a son, Casey Jon Macias, and wife, Jasmine, of Joplin, Missouri; a daughter, Sabrina Rachael Currence, of Thornwood; a step-son, William Larry Arnett, Jr., and wife, of Charleston; a grandson, Delcio Jon Macias, of Joplin, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Marcella Rexrode, and husband, Ken, of Durbin, and Ava Ann Shrader, of Elkins; two special nieces, Ashley Paige Hayes and Alishia Dawn Rexrode; four special nephews, Coty S. Rexrode, Cory L. Rexrode, Timothy S. “Timmy” Hayes and Landyn Dale Rexrode; two special cousins, Sandra Ann Waldron, of Petersburg, and Bobby Robert Greer; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and two special friends, Kim Ramirez, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Sherry Chestnut, of Dunmore.

Funeral service was April 4 at the Durbin Church of the Brethren.
