Joseph Roy Cain, 84, of Marlinton, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, in Hot Springs, Virginia.
Born December 25, 1938, he was a son of the late Roy and Levia Grimes Cain.
Joseph attended Mt. Zion Church and worked as a laborer in a steel mill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Cain; three sisters, Eula White, Edith Mullens and Lucille Kelley; and four brothers, Remus Cain, Ar-thur Cain, Hunter Cain and Edsel Cain.
He is survived by his wife, Jennea Parker Cain; four sons, Robert Cain, Joey Cain, Greg Cain and Tim Cain; three daughters, Debbie Beitel, Cindy Vegul and Lisa Siefring; sisters, Polly Moore and Mary Kaliszewski; and nephew, Jack Cain.
Funeral service will be held Saturday December 9, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Rev. David Rittenhouse officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service.
