Johnny Bruce Dean, 72, of Marlinton passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at home.
Born October 1, 1951, at Hillsboro, he was a son of the late Herbert and Mary Elizabeth Brock Dean.
Johnny was the owner of Johnny’s Garage and Wrecker Service, the business he established in September 1979.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Jerilene Puffenbarger, Wanda Leverage and Shirley Dean; brothers, Leo, Berlin, Ronnie and Larry Dean; and great-grandson, Ledger Dean.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Roberts Dean; daughters, Tonya Lynn Pollack, Tabatha Dawn Mann (Rick) and Talena Michelle Doss (Mike); sons, Timothy Wayne Dean and Travis Shane Dean; grandchildren, Tristan Evans (Joe), Riley Pollack, Payton Mann, Jordan Workman (Jake), Logan Mann (Makayla), Jensen Dean, Blake Kershner, T. J. Dean, Kylee Dean and Lakyn Dean; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Sawyer, Rayne, Jonah, Jenna, Lainey and Channing; brothers Albert Dean (Gail), Bobby Dean (Brenda) and Eugene Dean (Robin); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Saturday, June 8, 2024, at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Shaun Clark officiating.
Interment was in Emmanuel Cemetery.
