John Wayne Hannah Sr., 74, of Buckeye, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
Born August 25, 1949, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late James Kirk and Elinor Stoneking Hannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Mae Gower; and a brother, James (Butch) Hannah.
John was a United States Air Force Veteran, a retired coal miner and a loving father, brother and grandfather.
He is survived by a companion, Charlotte Ratliff; daughter, Deena Hannah, and husband, Scott Luton, of Cumming, Georgia; son, John Wayne Hannah Jr., and wife, Trisha, of Beaver, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Natalie Hannah and Amelia Hannah; brothers, Thomas Hannah, of Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania, and Kevin Hannah, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held December 12, 2023, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye.
