Joann Anderson

Joann Anderson, age 79, of Church Hill, Tennessee, and formerly of Hillsboro, passed away April 2, 2015, at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Born May 4, 1935, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Bertha and Caleb Hasilop.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Anderson; a son, Richard Dickenson; and a great-grandson, Garrett Arnold.

She is survived by her daughter, Bertha Ann Gagner, and husband, John, of Church Hill, Tennessee; sons, Tom Dickenson, and wife, Rachel, of Dunmore,
Roger Dickenson, and wife, Anna, of Green Bank, and John Dickenson, and wife, Lisa, of Frankford; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Per her request, a memorial service will be held Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. in the Hudson Cemetery on Galford Run Road off the Wesley Chapel Road in Green Bank, with Rev. Julian Rittenhouse officiating.
