Joan Cutlip

Joan Mae Cutlip, 84, of Marlinton, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.

Born January 4, 1938, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Seebert Franklin and Mary Margie Wolfe Wilfong.

Joan was a homemaker, mother, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Clarence “Bubbles” Cutlip; two stillborn siblings; sisters, Dorothy Boggs, Katherine Rimel, Geneveve Wilfong and Eva Galford; brothers, Michael Wolfe, Clarence Wilfong, Willard Wilfong, Richard Wilfong and Harry Wilfong; and son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Goldizen.

Survivors include daughters, Karen Goldizen, and Barbara Williams; sons, Barry “Dick” Cutlip, Randolph “Frank” Cutlip, and wife, Vicky, and Terry Cutlip; brother, Boyd Wilfong, and wife, Erma, all of Marlinton; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye.
