Jerry Kerr

Jerry Wayne Kerr, age 58, of Bartow, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born January 10, 1956, at Elkins, he was a son of the late Jerry Lee Kerr, Sr., and Betty Jean Mick Kerr.

Jerry was a logger for Wallace Simmons for more than 20 years. He loved racing, hunting, fishing and West Virginia football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Lynn Kerr; and a brother, Jerry Lee Kerr, Jr.

He is survived by a daughter, Tamsyn Rebecca Hall, and husband, Mike, of Bartow; a son, Brandon Wayne Kerr, and wife, Heather, of Durbin; four grandchildren, Emilynn Hall, Nadiya Kerr, Payden Kerr and Rayna Kerr; and two sisters, Jeannie Pugh, and husband, Roger, of Durbin, and Brenda Lea Vitek, of Virginia.

Funeral service was December 20 at the Thornwood Community Church with Pastors Carl Greathouse and William Vandevender officiating. Interment was in the Glory Hill Cemetery in Bartow.
