Jeffrey Hunt

Jeffrey Allan Hunt, age 44, of Buckeye, died Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born March 1, 1969, in Washington, D.C., he was a son of Thomas O. Hunt, of Lusby, Maryland, and the late Marvel Hodges Hunt McNeill.

Jeff was a correctional officer and attended Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Spencer Hunt; step-son, Jon-Mikel Novak, of Craigsville; a sister, Rhonda Hunt Withers, and husband, Brett, of Marlinton; brother, Jamie C. McNeill, and fiancée, Heather, of Buckeye; step-father, Blix McNeill, of Buckeye; nephews, Adam Withers, Casey Withers and Chase McNeill; and a niece, Maya Hamrick.

Funeral service was February 3 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Morgan officiating. Interment was in Emmanuel Cemetery near Hillsboro.

Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department.
