James Waugh

James Elmer Waugh, age 71, of Arnett, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at his home.

Born January 14, 1944, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Loyal Waugh, Sr., and Pearl Simmons Waugh.

James was a retired coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hazel Thomas; and four brothers, Asil Waugh, Kenneth Waugh, Loyal Waugh, Jr., and Billy Waugh.

He is survived by a brother, Charles Waugh, of Marlinton; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Waugh, of Arnett, and Mary Lou Waugh, of Marlinton; special nephews, Kenneth Waugh, Jr. and Randy Waugh; and a special niece, Cathy Griffith.

Funeral service was January 31 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
