James Edward Pyles, 79, of Beaver Creek, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at home, with his family by his side.
Born October 19, 1946, at Beaver Creek, he was a son of the late James Dale and Dorothy Pearl Underwood Pyles.
James was a farmer and worked and retired from Denmar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Wayne Pyles.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Boggs Pyles; sister, Sylvia Partington, and husband, Rocky, of Florida; brothers, Eddie Lee Pyles, and wife, Glenda, of Suffolk, Virginia, and Thomas Franklin Pyles, and wife, Lottie, of Beaver Creek; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Sunday August 16, 2026, at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye, with Pastor John Paul Burks officiating. Burial was in Pyles Promiseland Cemetery on Beaver Creek.
