James Elliott, II

James Franklin Elliott, II, age 55, of Green Bank, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016, at his home.

Born January 7, 1961, in Marlinton, he was a son of the late James F. Elliott and Phyllis Elliott Sheets.

James was a carpenter and enjoyed building for others.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son James F. “Tra” Elliott, III; and grandparents, Harvey and Josephine Myers and Robert and Anna Mae Elliott.

He is survived by a sister, Lori Warner, and husband, Jamie, of Green Bank; two nieces, Brooke Murphy, and husband, George, of Dunmore, and Morgan Bryant, and husband, Corey, of Marlinton; nephew, Derek Taylor, and wife, Chasity, of Green Bank; two-great-nieces, Makayla Vandevander and Mackenzie Taylor; and three great-nephews, Dillon Vandevander, Griffin Taylor and Jase Bryant.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, March 6, 2 p.m. in Arbovale Cemetery with Rev. Julian Rittenhouse officiating.
