James Barlow

James Elliott “Jim” Barlow, age 88, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at the VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Zoe E. Barlow; and an infant brother, Buster.

He is survived by his children, Linda Rotella and James E. “Jimmy” Barlow, Jr.; a granddaughter, Cindy Edmonds; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Celebration of Life will be held May 17 at Oakey’s Funeral Home in Roanoke, Virginia, with Pastor Lynn Riddle officiating. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 18, noon at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.

Memorials may be made to the DAV, 210 Franklin Road, #808, Roanoke, VA 24011.
