It was a wild Rumpus at GBO

Whether you were there to race or just to enjoy the rumpus, fun was had by all at the first Space Race Rumpus since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cyclists of all ages gathered at the Green Bank Observatory June 9-11 to enjoy leisurely bike rides around the county, as well as races on the rough terrain behind the Science Center.
Results from the races are as follows:

Time Trial

Kids, 10 and younger, male – first place, Rufus Morgan; and second place, Henry Riddle.

Kids, 10 and younger, female – first place, Hallie Riddle; and second place: Cora Baldwin.

Youth, 11-17, male –  first place, Willie O’Ganian; and second place, Brock Lewis.

Youth, 11-17, female – first place, Ahna Valach.

Adult, 18-49, male – first place, Joey Riddle; second place, Max O’Ganian; and third place, Walter Klahold.

Adult, 18-49, female – first place, Adele Plunkett; second place, Mandi Riddle; and third place, Tracy Valach

Masters, 50+, male – first place, Anthony Sallo; and second place, Paul Marganian.

Short Track

Kids, 10 and younger, male – first place, Rufus Morgan; second place, Henry Riddle; and third place, Crosby Ford.

Kids, 10 and younger, female – first place, Hallie Riddle; second place, Cora Baldwin.

Youth, 11-17, male – first place, Brock Lewis; second place, Willie O’Ganian.

Youth, 11-17, female – first place, Ahna Valach.

Adult, 18-49, male – first place, Joey Riddle; second place, JJ Ford,; and third place, Max O’Ganian.

Adult, 18-49, female –  first place, Mandi Riddle; second place, Adele Plunkett; and third place, Tracy Valach.

Masters, 50+, male – first place, Paul Marganian; and seond place, Anthony Sallo.
