Helen Dolan

Helen C. Dolan, of Renick, wife of the late Gilmer N. Dolan and the last surviving daughter of the late Thomas J. and Rebecca Jane Christian, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 26, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Auto.

Helen was born at Renick, attended all the Community Churches and was a homemaker. She left a great legacy behind. Her biscuits were her greatest success story.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold G. Dolan; son-in-law, Jackie Workman; brothers, Norris, Morris and Calvin Christian; and sisters, Hallie White, Callie White and Geraldine McMillion.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances Jane “Janie” Workman; a son, Thomas E. “Tommy” Dolan, and wife, Rhonda; several grandchildren, Andrew J. “A.J.” Workman, and his son, Raymond Bergin-Workman, Jeremy E. Dolan, and wife, Susan, their son, Alex Dolan, Courtney Dolan Darlington, and husband, David, and his sons, Carson and Austin, and Michael C. Dolan, and his companion, Katelyn Holliday, and her son, Braxton Kittle.

Graveside service was held April 28 at Morningside Cemetery in Renick with Pastor Phillip Hickman officiating.
