Hazel Geneva Sharp, 68, of Marlinton, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
Born December 12, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Kyle Curtis and Barbara McGlees Ervin.
Hazel was a creative person who found great joy in sewing and bringing her crafty ideas to life. She had a deep, nurturing spirit, which was especially evident in the love and care she gave to her many beloved cats, dogs and fish over the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Ervin.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and grandchildren: Steven Sharp; Janet Bangerter, and her partner, Matt Bangerter; Janet’s daughters, Marissa and Emily Miller; and Shawn Sharp, and wife, Candra Sharp, and their son, Weston Sharp, and Shawn’s daughters, Michelle and Rylnn Sharp.
In keeping with Hazel’s wishes, the body was cremated and there was no service.
Her family will carry her memory in their hearts.
