Grow Appalachia seeks gardeners

High Rocks is looking for families and individuals who are excited about gardening and want to be part of a year-long program to increase production and improved the quality of their produce.

All are welcome, whether you are a beginner, ready to go to market, or anywhere in between.

Bi-monthly workshops will be held in the Hillsboro area; participants are responsible for any necessary travel.

Grow Appalachia provides:

• Informative workshops

• Help with garden tilling

• Supplies that you need – include gardening tools, seeds, fertilizer, mulch, canning tools and irrigation and fencing supplies

Please register by January 13 to attend a required Garden Planning Workshop during the week of January 22 through 28.
