The winter squash did very well in Doug Bernier’s garden this year. He had 15 blue Hubbard squash ranging from 4.5 to 25 pounds for a total of 190+ pounds of squash. The Waltham butternuts also did well, with many in the four to seven pound range, 12-to-15-inches long. Bernier would be happy to share seeds during the seed swap in early spring.
