Grand Jury indicts 35

The April 2018 Grand Jury handed up indictments against 35 individuals in its two-day session last week.
Arraignments in the following cases will be held Friday, April 13, before the honorable Judge Jennifer P. Dent:

Miranda D. Bennett, 27, of Hillsboro – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One count, Delivery of an Imitation Controlled Substance, a felony.

Zachary P. Morrison, 29, of Buckeye, One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Edward L. Arbogast, 38, of Marlinton – Three Counts, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Jeff Allen Hill, 51, of Lewisburg – One Count, Malicious Assault, a felony; One Count, Attempted Murder, a felony; One Count, Second Offense Domestic Battery, a misdemeanor.

Leanna Woodhouse, 42, of Marlinton – Three Counts, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Delivery of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, a felony.

Leo Woodhouse, 52, of Marlinton – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.

Justin A. Conley, 18, of Renick– One Count, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I, Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Kiana Woodhouse, 20, of Marlinton – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Cody Brouwer, 23, of Marlinton – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, a felony.

Ricky Schoolcraft, 35, of Hillsboro – One Count, Forgery, a felony; One Count, Uttering, a felony; One Count, Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.

Matthew Tuscan, 35, of Hillsboro – Three Counts, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Delivery of a Schedule V Non-Narcotic Controlled Substance, a felony; One Count, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; Two Counts, Operating a Clandestine Drug Laboratory, a felony; One Count, Possession With Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Possession With Intent to Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony, One Count, Persons Prohibited from Possessing a Firearm, a felony.

Michael A. Stewart, 38, of Buckeye – One Count, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, a felony.

Anna Faye Sheets, 50, of Marlinton – Two Counts, Delivery of a Schedule III Controlled Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Joseph Lee Smith, 51, of Marlinton – Two Counts, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender or Provide Notice of Registration Changes, a felony.

Arraignments for the following individuals will be held Wednesday, April 25, before the Honorable Judge Robert E. Richardson:

Noletia Gail Mayle, 34, of Marlinton – Two Counts, Delivery of a Schedule III Controlled Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Distribution of a Schedule III Controlled Narcotic Substance by a Person Eighteen Years of Age or Older Within One Thousand Feet of an Elementary School, a felony.

David Wayne Sharp, 55, of Marlinton – Two Counts, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Amanda Bennett, 32, of Marlinton – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II, Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony.

Robert Allan Eary, 20, of Cass – Two Counts, Entry of a Building Other Than a Dwelling, a felony; Six Counts, Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, a felony; Two Counts, Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.

Melanie Dawn Cosner, 43, of Durbin – Two Counts, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; Two Counts, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.

John T. Greathouse, 36, of Bartow – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance, a felony; One Count, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.

Jonathan C. Shearer, 29, of Marlinton – One Count, Delivery of a Schedule II, Controlled Non-Narcotic Substance.

Paul A. Shaver, 24, of Morgantown – One Count, Forgery, a felony; One Count, Uttering, a felony; One Count, Obtaining Money by False Pretenses, a felony; One Count, Fraudulent Schemes, a felony.

Roy Lynn Walker, 51, of Monterey, Virginia – One Count, Grand Larceny, a felony.

Jacob Owen Gragg, 18, of Slaty Fork – One Count, Sexual Assault in the First Degree, a felony; One Count, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a felony; One Count, Incest, a felony.

Marissa Mann Bennett, 22, of Renick – Two Counts, Child Neglect Creating Risk of Injury, a felony.

An indictment is not proof of guilt. Individuals are deemed innocent until proven otherwise by a jury of their peers.
