Grand Jury

According to Pocahontas County Circuit Clerk Connie Carr, the following indictments were handed up by the April 2015 Grand Jury.
Ebimael Rodriguez Perez, 22, of Durbin, was indicted on Three Counts, Wanton Endangerment, Involving a Firearm, a felony. 
Birthel Scott Kennedy, 47, of Marlinton –  One Count, Domestic Battery Third Offense, a felony.
William R. Ratliff, 40, of Lewisburg  – One Count, Violation of Civil Rights, a felony; One Count, Destruction of Property, a misdemeanor. 
Angela Higginbotham, 44, of Leon  – One Count, Fraudulent Schemes, a felony.
Arraignments in the above cases will be held April 21 at 9 a.m. before the Honorable Judge James J. Rowe
Jonathan A. Royal, 52, of Cass – Two Counts, Person Prohibited from Possessing Firearms, a felony.
 Sandra Hill, 48, of Hillsboro – One Count, Fraudulent Schemes, a felony.
Alfred Lee Pritt, 53, of  Hillsboro – Three Counts, Wanton Endangerment Involving a Firearm, a felony.
Jeremy L. Kincaid, 21, of Marlinton – One Count, Malicious Wounding, a felony. 
Arraignments in these cases will be held April 15 at 9 a.m. before the Honorable Judge Robert E. Richardson.
An indictment is not proof of guilt. All persons are considered innocent until proven otherwise by a jury of their peers.
