‘Tis the season for love and kindness, and if you’re looking for love and have a heart full of kindness, you should visit the Pocahontas County Animal Shelter.

There are cats and kittens just waiting to be adopted, and they make entertaining companions.

The cats pictured here are just a few of those available for adoption.

If you would like to open your home to one of these furry friends, contact the shelter at 304-799-4209. The shelter is located in the ARC Building at 300 Second Avenue in Marlinton.

If you can’t adopt a pet right now, please consider making a donation to the shelter.

And, if you are looking for a Christmas gift idea for someone who loves animals and “has everything,” consider making a donation in their honor to the shelter or Pocahontas County Humane Society.

The address for the Humane Society is 410 Second Avenue, Marlinton, WV 24954
