Galen Biggs

Galen Lee “Buttons” Biggs, 48, of Marlinton, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020.

Born August 13, 1972, at Elkins, he was a son of Roger Teter, Sr. and Delores Biggs McLaughlin, both of Marlinton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorsey Fredrick and Ruth Margaret Biggs; and paternal grandparents, Warren Clyde “Bud” Teter and Glenda Sharp; brother, William “Boodles” Biggs; and a grandson, Ledger Dean.

In addition to his parents, Buttons is survived by his daughters, Chasity Bowyer, of Lewisburg, and Ashley Mundie, of Lyndhurst, Virginia; son, Gavin Doss, of Lewisburg; sisters, Katelyn Cohenour and Courtney Cohenour, both of Marlinton; brothers, Roger Warren “Weasel” Teter, of Marlinton, and Kyle Cohenour, of Green Bank; grandchildren, Riyan Gladwell, Bentlee Gladwell, Channing Gladwell, Keelan Bowyer, Slate Blankenship and Coleman Mundie; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service was held Monday, December 7, 2020, at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton with Rev. David Merryman officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to the Victims of Violent Crimes/ Family Refuge Center, PO Box 249, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
