It’s been a long time coming, but, if all goes well, the new Buckeye Post Office will be open for business beginning Friday, October 16, at 11 a.m. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. A new service will allow post office patrons 24/7 access to their P. O. boxes. Angie Bostic will be the clerk. A “Grand Opening” will be held Thursday, October 22, during regular hours, complete with refreshments, to celebrate this long awaited event. J. Graham photo
