Summer may be winding down but the fun’s not over yet! Bring the family to the First Friday Block Party Friday, August 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Discovery Junction in Marlinton.
Hosted by the Pocahontas County Family Support Center and Family Resource Network, the event will feature giant inflatables, free food and door prizes.
DJ Brandon Kerr will be rockin’ the stage with plenty of party tunes.
As always, the First Friday event will include the farmers market and other activities provided by community businesses and organizations.
The block party is made possible by many community partners and private donors, along with the Town of Marlinton, Pocahontas County Drama, Fairs and Festivals and the Pocahontas County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
