Fiddle Fare fiddlers revealed

The Pocahontas County Opera House has announced the names of the four fiddlers who will provide music for the Fiddle Fare Fundraiser scheduled for Friday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fiddlehead Restaurant in Slaty Fork.

Local musicians – Paul Marganian of the Elk River Ramblers, Paolo Marks of Marks Violins, Mike Burns of Juanita Fireball and the Continental Drifters, and Doug Van Gundy of Born Old— will provide the musical accompaniment for a fun-filled evening to benefit the Opera House. All four are donating their time and talents to benefit the Opera House Foundation which has been bringing a variety of music to the historical Opera House in Marlinton since 1999.

Tickets for the four course heavy appetizer meal paired with West Virginia craft beers cost $40 and are available at the 4th Avenue Gallery or by calling 304-799-6406. The evening will include a silent auction. Seating is limited.
