The Pocahontas County Farmer’s Market is now open!
You can find us, bright and early, every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until noon near the First Avenue Mini Park in Marlinton. Shop local and join us for some good food and fun. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend.
We have various starter plants, hardy cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli to name a few that can take cooler temperatures and even weather a light frost. These are perfect for planting now. You will be glad you picked up a few starter plants when you and your family enjoy your own fresh produce later. High tunnel owners and indoor growing enthusiasts may be interested in some nice early tomato plants.
We have gorgeous hanging baskets and flowers that are perfect for your front porch and garden. Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Surprise the woman in your life with some amazing flowers. She will be happy with your thoughtfulness and that you shopped local.
With the season just beginning we do have some early produce, including some early greens, lettuce, rhubarb, Asian greens, herbs and apples.
We have plenty of fresh baked goods and supplies to make your own. We offer salt rising bread, artisan breads, dinner rolls, cinnamon buns, cookies, cornmeal, freshly ground flours, lard, molasses, vanilla extracts, maple syrup and eggs.
We also have all natural soaps, homemade jams and jellies perfect for any occasion.
For the crafter in your life, we offer unique fabrics, quilts, potato bakers, sewing accessories, beautiful specialty yarns, hand knitted apparel, jewelry, nature paintings and colorful tie dyes.
