The Pocahontas County Farmers Market has three locations throughout the county. Visit one of our locations in Green Bank, Linwood and Marlinton.
Summer is in full swing and we are reaping the venefits of our gardens. Many of us are busy maintaining our gardens and getting ready to plant for fall. The recent warm weather has been a blessing to many of our crops. This week at the market we will have a variety of squash, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, baby potatoes, beets, radishes, green romaine, zucchini, green onions, garlic, cilantro, basil, rosemary, sage, thyme, parsley, oregano, dill, green beans, rainbow chard, cabbage, broccoli, peaches, berries and so much more. Share your gardening tips and secrets the next time you visit the Farmers Market.
Interested in canning? Buy your produce now and stock up for the winter months.
We also have fresh seafood, mussels, scallops, crab meat, shrimp, savory smoked salmon, meats, local chicken, beef, farm fresh eggs, lard, molasses, honey, vanilla extracts, maple syrup, jams, jellies, freshly ground flours, a huge variety of baked goods, salt rising bread, artisan breads, pepperoni rolls, specialty cookies, granola, beeswax products, flowers, unique fabrics, quilts, potato bakers, sewing accessories, purses, specialty yarns, hand knitted apparel, nature paintings, colorful tie dyes, soaps, jewelry and much more.
The Pocahontas County Farmers Market has a variety of promotional products. Stop by any of our three locations and pick up a keychain, PCFM cookbook, tote and T-shirt! All proceeds support the Farmer’s Market.
Double your EBT benefits when you shop at the Marlinton Farmer’s Market. It is a great way to feed your family for less. Swipe your card, decide how much you want to spend at the market and we will double your purchase amount up to $20. For example, if you choose to spend $15 at the market, we will give you $15 in matching tokens.
We are looking for local musicians to play at the market. If you are interested, stop by the Market Manager’s table for more information.
