Elliott Pritt

Elliott Houston Pritt, age 82, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.

Born June 28, 1933, at Jacox, he was a son of the late Joseph and Monnie Harford Pritt.

Elliott was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Pritt, Clifford Pritt and James Pritt; and four sisters, Nora Loudermilk, Brownie Cluff, Ada Winger and Arvena Pritt.

He is survived by a brother, Kessler Pritt, of Hillsboro; step-daughters, Lois Dean, of Hillsboro, and Linda Beard, of Florida; and step-sons, Larken Dean, Larry Dean and Laymond Dean, all of Hillsboro.

Funeral service was March 19 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor David Merryman officiating. Interment was in Emmanuel Cemetery on Bruffys Creek.
