The Durbin Christmas Parade had a lot of community support this year.

It was a little cold, but I don’t think the kids felt it because they were more interested in seeing Santa.

There was a Christmas Party at the Durbin Library after the parade, where the children got to sit on Santa’s lap to tell him what they want for Christmas.

Danielle Mace set up a table so the kids could make Christmas Tree Ornaments.

The Durbin Days Festival Committee went all out with the decorations and providing treats of hot chocolate and fruit punch and a variety of cookies as well as an old favorite – popcorn.

Santa and one of his elves handed out small gifts and a bag of candy to every child. Some of the kids were a little shy, but Santa made them smile.
