Drema Madalene Tinney, age 68, of Marlinton, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born March 18, 1950, at Boso, she was a daughter of the late Tennie H. and Wanda Martin McCall.
Drema was a homemaker and worked as a cook for the Sixties Café, Kathy’s Café, and Dairy Queen. She was a member and Sunday School teacher at the Cook Town Church. She also volunteered time as an EMT for the Marlinton Rescue Squad.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Dawn Tinney.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years and eight months, Everette Lee Tinney; daughters, Drema Renee Perkins, Patty Ann Sharp, Robyn Lea Beverage and Kelly Renee Tinney, all of Marlinton, Debra Lynn Holiday, of Maxwelton, and Camella Jo “CJ” Totten, of Renick; sisters, Margaret “Peggy” McCall, Linda Burgess and Kathy McCall, all of Marlinton; brothers, David H. McCall and Ira Joe McCall, both of Marlinton; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held August 27 at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
