Dorothy Jarvis

Dorothy Marie Jarvis, 87, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg.

Born January 4, 1933, at Spring Creek, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Lynette Pritt Stuart.

Dorothy attended Trinity Baptist Church in Buckeye and was a cafeteria worker in Ohio for the Ohio Board of Education.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Francis Jarvis; daughter, Lisa Burdette, and husband, Dan, of Marlinton; grandchildren, Brandy Moore, and husband, Steven, Dege Campbell and Chris McComb, Zane Burdette and Jesse Burdette, and wife, Jamie, all of Marlinton, 10 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, the body will be cremated and no service will be held.

Donations of Sympathy may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
