Dolly McComb

Dolly Gray McComb, age 85, of Cummings Creek, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born August 18, 1929, at Jerico, she was a daughter of the late Milburn and Pearl Beverage Sharp.

Dolly was a member of the First Baptist Church Huntersville and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grey H. McComb; two children, Kevin H. McComb and Gloria G. Dean; a grandson, William Hamilton; two sisters, Eula Moore and Jennie Cutlip; two brothers, Carl Sharp and Johnnie Sharp; and a son-in-law, Allen Hamilton.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Hamilton, and Lisa Workman, and husband, Kenny, all of Marlinton; a son, Clarence H. McComb, and wife, Patricia, of Marlinton; five sisters, Edna Webb, Ann Hannah and Nancy Hager, all of Marlinton, Jane Madron, of Dunmore, and Margaret Channell, of Elkins; three brothers, Ralph Sharp, of Dunmore, and Ray Sharp and Claude Sharp, both of Marlinton; eight grandchildren, Jeff Hamilton, Cassandra Smith, Chris McComb, Amanda Kotowicz, Shanna McComb-Beverage, Kayla Hutchison, Adam Workman and Benjamin Workman; eight great-grandchildren, Dessie Hamilton, Andrew Hamilton, Heather Hamilton, Joey Hamilton, Jesslyn Hamilton, Wyatt McComb, Jasper Kotowicz and Talan Kotowicz; and four great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Thursday, March 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye. Funeral service is Friday, March 27, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Huntersville with Pastor Phillip Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery on Beaver Creek.
