Diana Sue Barkley, age 65, of Arbovale, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at her home.

Born April 2, 1951, at Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late Clen Alonzo Lambert and Betty Clara Lambert.

Diana enjoyed working as a secretary for Seneca State Forest. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and photographing nature. Most of all, she enjoyed singing and directing many Cantatas in the area. She was very active in church life and enjoyed praising the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford “Artie” Barkley; a son, Cameron Ellis Barkley, and wife, Stephanie, of Green Bank; a daughter, Amy Lee Paul, and husband, Jonathan, of Cumberland, Maryland; five grandchildren, Dyana Joy Paul, Jared Paul, Caleb Mullenax, Jacob Barkley and Nathaniel Barkley; and a sister, Rosemary Hipes, and husband, George, of Durbin.

A private family graveside service was held in the Arbovale Cemetery Annex with Rev. Gary Barkley officiating.

A memorial fund has been established with White Pine Holiness Camp. Donations can be sent to White Pine Holiness Camp, c/o Phyllis Romine, 79 Cemetery Road, Arbovale, WV 24915.
