Dharl McLaughlin

Dharl B. McLaughlin, age 73, of Dunmore, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.

Born April 28, 1943, at Dunmore, he was a son of the late Clyde and Eleanor Rhea McLaughlin.

Dharl attended Baxter Presbyterian Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shelby Cassell McLaughlin; a daughter, Julie McNabb, and husband, Frosty, of Slaty Fork; grandchildren, Cory McNabb, and fiancée, Jessica Hays, of Slaty Fork, and Ashley McNabb, and fiancé, Bradley Warner, of Beverly; and sisters, Jane Oliver, and husband, Jimmy, of Dunmore, and Judy Peck, and husband, Bud, of Boyer.

A graveside service was held April 1 at the Dunmore Cemetery with Rev. David Rittenhouse officiating.
