Surrounded by loved ones, Debra Yvonne “Debbie” Ramirez, age 60, of El Cajon, California, went to be with her Lord and Savior October 18, 2016.

Debbie was a loyal employee of Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, California, having worked there for 28 years. Her job as a Certified Coder allowed patients and coworkers to see Debbie’s true professionalism, respectful work ethic and compassionate nature.

She will be remembered for her faith in God, love for family and goodness of heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Esther Ramirez; and grandparents, Seebert and Margaret Wilfong and Lola Sharp Lambert and Norman C. Sharp.

She is survived by her husband, Gil Ramirez; her loving son, Rodolfo “Rudy” Ramirez, and wife, Mandy, and precious granddaughter, Hailey Jade, all of El Cajon, California; her Christian parents, Boyd and Erma Wilfong, of Minnehaha Springs; sisters, Beverly Granstra, and husband, Ron, of Hayes, Virginia, and Denise Segovia, of Hampton, Virginia; father-in-law, Rodolfo Ramirez, of El Monte, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.

Debbie loved her family and cherished her Wilfong/Sharp heritage. It is that love that has brought her back to West Virginia to her final resting place.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 8, 3 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Phillip Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
